Technology for cities

André Dias, CTO and founder of Flow, highlights the manner in which the company intends to meet mobility challenges with solutions based on three pillars: connectivity, electrification and sharing

"We want to look at today's problems and find solutions for the technological reality that really exists." This is the goal proposed by Flow, a start-up dedicated to the management of mobility solutions, providing a platform geared to speeding up the concepts of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) applied to the management of vehicle fleets, electrification and car sharing.

Flow's portfolio already includes solutions implemented on the ground, such as MobiCascais, a mobile application that facilitates the integrated management of the municipality´s mobility and urban transport system by its users, not only with regard to public transport, but shared bicycles, parking and charging of electric vehicles as well.

CIFMOB (International Conference on the Future of Mobility) has once again held a meeting of experts in Porto to discuss the future of mobility in cities. This year, the talks focused on self-drive vehicles, and the CTO and founder of Flow underlined the role the company's technology platform can play in relation to paradigm shift.
