Good client experiences are important for everyone

As far as Laila Pawlak is concerned it is important to understand that clients are different and therefore think in a different manner. We can only guarantee their attention and loyalty by creating remarkable experiences in their relationship with the company

Laila Pawlak is the managing director and co-founder of SingularityU Nordic, an entity that is part of Singularity University, and which organises, among others, educational programmes for entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. The main goal is to provide clients with knowledge of the technologies of the future and to introduce manners in which leaders can get involved with the new technological universe and become part of the solution rather than the problem.

The specialist recently participated in the SingularityU Cascais Lisbon Chapter, held at Galp´s head offices in Lisbon, and which focused on the importance of a company´s relationship with its clients.

Laila Pawlak believes that the creation of good client experiences is essential to sustaining business in the long term. This basically involves finding ways in which they “are, become and seem better”, she declares. In the first case, by honouring their values; in the second case, by making the relationship with our company simpler, cheaper and faster; and in the third case, by helping improve their share capital, or in other works, their public appearance.

INNOVATING WITH LOWER COSTS
In the opinion of Laila Pawlak, there is no need to try and be the best at everything when striving to innovate in the creation of good client experiences with companies. This specialist believes it is more efficient to identify the best principles used in the area, in the sector in which the company is active or any other, “what others do well”, and to find ways in which to implement them at the company. “This is a means of innovating with far lower costs”, explains the expert, remembering that leadership plays a vital role in the design of really remarkable client experiences, "as it establishes the agenda for what is really important for the company”. Without the involvement of everyone in the implementation of the idea it is hard to obtain and maintain the “loyalty, respect, time, money and attention of clients”, adds Laila Pawlak.

WHAT IS SINGULARITYU?

Focused on helping to create a better future for Portugal and the world, Galp joined SingularityU as a founding member in Portugal with the aim of promoting and encouraging Portuguese innovation, helping our leaders and entrepreneurs to combine good ideas and emerging technologies as a means of meeting the major global challenges faced by society.

Portugal is the fourth country to partner Singularity University, having joined the growing global network of partners in this project, which already includes SingularityU Nordics, SingularityU Netherlands and SingularityU Canada. SU works in partnership with leaders from these countries to bring its programme and ideas to the attention of executives, businessmen, politicians and local entrepreneurs.
