Growth in the LPG business in Mozambique

Results point to a 15% increase in LPG business in the last two months

Despite the strong impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, April was the second best sales month ever in Galp Mozambique’s LPG business, with 2300 tons of Gas sold, which indicates that the 15% growth observed in these first months can be sustained throughout the year.

In order to respond to this growth, the first bulk LPG supply was made this week with the new recently acquired vehicle.

With this equipment, which replaces the old vehicle, and the appointment of new distributors and the opening of 72 new points of sale in the cities of Maputo and Matola, have contributed greatly to this increase in sales. With these developments, we will be better able to serve our Customers and consolidate our volumes in this segment.

Galp remains the main LPG operator in Mozambique, with a great ambition to continue growing in this market.
