“The main focus is on growth”

Flow is already a benchmark in terms of mobility. The company´s new CEO, Jane Hoffer, is concentrating on growth strategies, while not forgetting to guarantee a competitive business model

Jane Hoffer is the new CEO of Flow and is paving the path to be taken by the startup in the coming years, featuring innovative and above all disruptive mobility products and services. As far as the Flow executive is concerned, the current challenge consists of creating products and ensuring the implementation of the brand in the market, as, she assures, “our main focus is now on growth rather than results”.

In the opinion of the CEO, the company “can assume a leading role in current mobility programmes, both in the private and public sectors”, thereby contributing to the “optimisation of the manner in which people move around, while helping the global decarbonisation process at the same time”.

Another of the goals set by Jane Hoffer, the leader of a team of 50 people, but which will be considerably reinforced in the coming months (particularly in the areas of customer support, product development, quality, marketing and sales), is “to enhance the technology we have and market it, thereby completing our business model and, among other things, establishing a price structure”.

Although this is where the partnership with Galp becomes so valuable (due to its position as an investor and the fact it is one of the major players in the market), Flow has an even broader view. “We have the opportunity to forge partnerships with several of Galp´s clients, but our approach to the market stretches beyond. The synergies we share are obviously essential, but the search for new clients, in particular companies with large fleets intending to go electric, is central to our approach”, she adds.

Flow ramped up its operation on opening the startup's new offices at the Galp refinery in Matosinhos, at a ceremony attended by Carlos Gomes da Silva, CEO of Galp, and Susana Quintana-Plaza, executive director at Galp and the chairperson of the Flow Board of Directors.
